In our Create Your Own Adventure (CYOA) segment, we allow you, the reader ot influence a story, its plot, and even its morals by your comments and your decisions. This is the beginning of that story. ————————————————————— It’s like jamming an icepick into your brain, the shock and pain of your first injection. The process is still pretty pricey, even in this day and age, but you’ve wanted to be a Decker(hacker) all your life, and you can’t get into the Matrix without a Datajack. The Matrix evolved from the first Internet crash in 2029, caused by a virus that could cause fatal bio feedback, unstoppable at the time. This inspired the creation of a stronger, and more powerful matrix. The new cyberterminals were the size of desks, and more powerful, as opposed to the original room-size terminals, which required sensory-deprivation tanks to use. “Firs’ Time I’done dis to yer type. Fine’ly realizin the analog life ain’t so great, eh?” The modder cackles, his fat jiggles as he laughs, his body straining to pump the blood through his massive form.
